7. Habit : Vamsa is a perennial shrub growing upto 30m height. It is found in all the deciduous forests. The stem is hollow inside and outside with green to brown color. The stems have nodules in it.
8. Distribution : Found primarily in tropical and subtropical regions of South Asia, including India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and parts of Southeast Asia.
